The Taos Society of Etchers was founded in 2010 by Geoffrey Lasko. The primary goals of the print society are 1) to provide education to the local community about the history and techniques involved in the creation of traditional hand made prints and 2) to provide a complete traditional intaglio printmaking facility to the community and indiviual artists to work and exchange knowledge and ideas.

Currently Mr. Lasko is volunteering his time working with the students and staff of the Oo Oonah Art Center at the Taos Pueblo teaching them traditional printmaking techniques.
